The EQUALS Digital Skills Hub is an online platform that provides practical recommendations for organisations on the design, implementation and evaluation of projects to promote digital competencies for women and girls. Including a project database with inspiring case studies from all around the world.
Who is in charge of the EQUALS Digital Skills Hub?
The Hub is a project of the EQUALS Global Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age. EQUALS is a committed group of corporate leaders, governments, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, academic institutions, NGOs and community groups around the world dedicated to promoting gender balance in the technology sector by championing equality of access, skills development and career opportunities for women and men alike. The EQUALS Digital Skills Hub has been developed under the leadership of UNESCO with contributions from EQUALS Skills Coalition partners, thanks to the generous support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
What does it offer to you?
The EQUALS Digital Skills Hub supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of existing and new projects that expand digital skills for women and girls. Apart from receiving invaluable information on efforts from around the world aiming to bridge the gender digital skills gap, you can also add your contribution(s) to projects and resources. The EQUALS Digital Skills Hub has an open call for case studies. Feel free to share stories on how your project has contributed in narrowing the gender digital skills gap.
