Use of cookies

Cookies are a technology used to adapt information from a website to user requirements. A cookie is a data element sent by a website to the browser to be stored on the local system.

BMZ occasionally also uses cookies to support you more effectively when you return to such a website. The legal basis for using cookies is Art. 1 (1) e of GDPR, in conjunction with Section 3 of BDSG. However, you can also configure your browser to alert you when a cookie is set. Then you can decide yourself whether you want to accept it or not.

In Mozilla Firefox, you can access this setting in the Browser menu (top right) under ‘Options – Privacy & Security’.

If you do not consent to this data being saved and evaluated for your visit, you can object to data storage and use at any time. If this is the case, an opt-out cookie will be set in your browser, preventing your session data from being collected in the first place. Please note: When you delete your cookies, the opt-out cookie is also deleted. In this case you have to re-activate it.

Objection

Users can lodge an objection at any time to the collection and storage of this data with future effect.

You can decide here whether a unique web analytics cookie can be saved to allow the website operator to collect and analyse various statistical data.

Please note that BMZ has no control over the terms of use of the specified services and their providers.

For our part, we shall also always take due care when handling your data, but cannot accept any liability for the behaviour of the providers or third parties.

We also wish to expressly point out that providers of the social networks we use store data outside Germany permanently and use it for commercial purposes. We have no means of knowing the extent and duration for which the data is stored.

In so far as external links, i.e. links to pages not located under http://www.bmz.de, are used on this website, we hereby expressly disclaim all responsibility for the content or data protection policy of the external resources. If you believe that linked external pages infringe established law or otherwise contain inappropriate material please let us know.
